Your First Visit Spokane, WA
The First Appointment
If a rejuvenation of your smile is what you desire, we provide a comprehensive evaluation that is customized to what you want to achieve. During this evaluation, we will discuss your options for creating the new smile that you're always wanted.
If you're seeking family dentistry, then all areas of your mouth will be thoroughly examined at your first visit. This assessment will include a detailed examination of your teeth, soft tissue, supporting structure alignment, bite, and more. We may also need to take a complete set of x-rays along with models of your teeth.
We respect you and your time and we do our best to stay on schedule to get you in, taken care of, and on with your day. Prior to your first appointment, we’ll send you a link by email with the new patient information to be completed before your first visit. You can also download them by clicking on the link below. We ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment to ensure your paperwork is in order.
Preventive Dental Hygiene Appointment
Once you've completed your examination, you will be ready for the preventive oral hygiene session. At this point, you will have the opportunity to learn about the latest theories and techniques for controlling dental disease. You will be recommended specific approaches for your individual needs. Your teeth will then be cleaned by our licensed dental hygienist, who are dedicated to giving you maximum longevity from your natural dentition. To us, this dental hygiene session is regarded as one of the most valuable services we offer to our patients.
Based on your dental and medical history, your first visit with our hygienist will be either 60 or 90 minutes. During this time you will have an opportunity to express your concerns and let us know your dental goals. It will also serve as an opportunity for us to get to know you.
Dental Evaluation and Plan for Treatment
After your preventative dental hygiene appointment, we will go over your dental evaluation, and then make a plan for treatment. Your immediate needs, as well as long term objectives, will be based on the goal of you receiving maximum life for your natural teeth.
