This is how long it takes to recover from a root canal

When it comes time to see the endodontist, patients who don't understand what the root canal process includes are more likely to be frightened. Knowing how this treatment works and what to expect might help to ease these unfounded anxieties. Root canal therapy relieves pain rather than causing it. Endodontists can also do their work with a high degree of precision thanks to technology like digital imaging, ultrasonic instruments, and operational microscopes. After the root canal process, it will take time before you go back to your normal routine. The recovery process however differs from the foods one eat and the general care.
Recovery process
For the first few days after a root canal treatment, the tooth may be sensitive, especially if it was infected before the operation. In most cases, over-the-counter pain relievers will suffice, but in other cases, a stronger drug may be prescribed by the dentist. The majority of patients, however, will resume their routine activities the next day after therapy. It's best to avoid chewing on the tooth that's being treated until your permanent filling arrives. This will help prevent a vulnerable tooth from being re-infected or fractured before it has been repaired. To keep the region clean, remember to brush and floss every day.
When to go back to the endodontist

The process is not painful and since you will have had anesthesia follow the instructions given by the dentist.
